Dr.R.Karthikeyan is the Managing Director of Gemba Management Consulting Pvt. Ltd.

He is also founder and director of a premier school for HR Management at Chennai- Gemba School of HR, which is the first B-school for HR and has been taught exclusively by business managers.

His educational qualification is Ph D in Psychology and his work experience is in the field of Human Resource Management (as manager, trainer and consultant) for the more than two decades.

Prior to consulting, he has worked as HR manager for Tube Investments and Hyundai Motor India.

He has trained and coached more than 49,000 executives in the last 24 years.

He has been an organizer, speaker, an office bearer in ISTD Southern Region Conference held at Chennai during 2008, 2009 and 2010. He was also a speaker at Asia HRD Congress – 2010 held at Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia and at Asia HRD Congress – 2007 held at Kuala Lumpur.

He has been awarded Vivekananda National Award for Excellence in HRD & Training'' by Indian Society of Training and Development.

He is also a Columnist with The Tamil Hindu. His Articles & Film Reviews are currently published on Tuesdays & Sundays respectively. He is also a regular Contributor to Tamil magazines of the Vikatan & Kumudham Group. Recently two of his columns have been published as books by the Tamil Hindu titled 'Nam Makkal, Nam Sothu' and 'Velaiyai Kaadhali.'
